The favorite screen can be used to enter the list of your favorite contacts. The favorites can be : called from the list view; called from the photo view; called from the dialer (see the dialer page of this guide); If you tap on a favorite name you call the number you've specified when you added it to the list. The corresponding label is shown on the right. The numbers from one to nine are shown to tell you that you can call that contact touching and holding the corresponding key on the dialer. Only the first nine favorite can be called from the dialer. If you tap and hold on a favorite you'll see the quick actions for that contact. In this way you can send an SMS, an email or call a different number of the contact. You can add 54 favorites, i.e. six pages on photo view. In the settings (ABContacts -> Favorite) you can choose the default view (list, photo or last used).

By tapping the Edit button you can manage the favorite list. Tap the Plus button on the top-right to add a favorite. A contact selector will be shown. Choose the contact and the number and it will be added to the end of the list. You can reorder the favorites by dragging their reorder icon on the right. Tap the red minus button to show the delete button. Touch it to delete the favorite from the list.

The photo view will be shown if you tap the Camera button on the top-right when in non-edit mode. ABContacts will show you nine favorites in every page with big pictures, the number label with a big font and the contact name with a smaller font. You can swipe pages left and right or tap the page control on the bottom to change between favorite pages. To return to list view, tap the List button on the top-right. To call a contact just tap its photo. You can also show quick actions with a tap & hold on the photo.
